JD Sports Fashion has appointed Andrew Leslie as non-executive director.
Leslie was most recently executive board director of Pentland Brands, owner of brands including Boxfresh and Gio Goi. He retired from the brand house in 2008. He has also held roles at the British Shoe Corporation, The Burton Group and Timpson Shoes.
JD Sports Fashion executive chairman Peter Cowgill said: “We are delighted that Andrew has agreed to join the board as a non-executive director. With his considerable experience in the sectors that the group operates in, he will be a valuable addition to the board.”
