Jasper Conran, designer and son of Sir Terence, has been appointed chairman of The Conran Shop.
Jasper Conran has been chief creative director of furniture retailer since 2011 and is responsible for starting the recent revamp of the flagship Fulham Road store.
Terence Conran, chairman of Conran Holdings, said: “Jasper is doing an outstanding job revitalizing our Fulham Road store.
“He is breathing new life in to the space and bringing back the truly special feel it had when we first opened 25 years ago.
“I am delighted he accepted the role of chairman because he is both a highly accomplished designer and very successful businessman and perfectly placed to lead The Conran Shop.”
