Jaeger is expanding its customer reach with the launch of a transactional web site before Christmas
Fashion retailer Jaeger is expanding its customer reach with the launch of a transactional web site before Christmas, writes Emma Vickers.

The site will sell 400 items, including menswear, womenswear and accessories. It will be managed from a£1 million office in King's Lynn, Norfolk, which was opened last week by England cricketer and the face of Jaeger menswear Simon Jones (right).

The King's Lynn centre will operate Jaeger's new stock management system, which links its UK stores and offices and enables them to track stock and sales on a real-time basis. Warehouse and customer service operations are consolidated, reducing fulfilment time. Chief executive Belinda Earl said: 'I want to make sure customers have one impression of the brand.'
