Store opening part of expansion drive
PopXpress, a chain dedicated to selling Apple iPods, is opening a second store in London.

The outlet, which will open at Bond Street this week, follows a debut at London's Liverpool Street station last November.

The company is attempting to build the first UK chain of iPod-dedicated shops and the intention is to have 12 UK stores by the end of the year.

The shop will occupy two floors and features a minimalist design in keeping with the Apple aesthetic. Stores carry a full range of iPod products and a vast array of accessories.

PopXpress is also selling own-brand products, including leather cases, headphones, adaptors and even iPod-enabled boxer shorts.

PopXpress chief executive Jonathan Cole said: 'After the success of the first store at Liverpool Street, we are thrilled to be opening this second store in such a prestigious retail district, at such an exciting time in the iPod's development.'
