Tata Group’s retail arm Trent has entered into an initial agreement with Spanish retailer Inditex to open Massimo Dutti stores in India.

The proposed joint venture will be 51% owned by Inditex’s Zara Holding, while the rest will be owned by Trent. Trent and Inditex have a similar joint venture to run the Spanish company’s Zara boutiques in India.
