Mobile phone retailer Svyaznoy recorded revenue of RUB55.42bn (£1.2bn) for 2010, a 21% increase on last year. As a result, net profit increased significantly, to RUB2bn (£43m).

The retailer opened 469 stores and closed 73 during the period, bringing its total to 2,282 at the end of 2010.
