Australia’s Harvey Norman posted a 1.2% increase in group sales to Aus$3.3bn (£2.07bn) for the six months to December 31, 2010. Like-for-like sales were down 3.1%, and by country, like-for-like sales were weakest in Australia, New Zealand and Ireland (-2%, -3% and -2.6% respectively). Slovenia was the best performer, with like-for-like sales growth of 10.1%. Northern Ireland saw like-for-like growth of 4.2%.
