Kiddicare has opened a 50,00 sq ft flagship store just outside London.

The store on the Lakeside Retail Park, Thurrock opened today and is the retailer’s largest store to date. The baby specialist bought ten former Best Buy stores earlier this year and opened the first of which in Nottingham in September.

The Morrisons-owned retailer said the new store is the largest baby specialist store in the world.

The store features a ‘Walk in the Park’ buggy test track; virtual queuing systems for free car seat fitting; browse and order kiosks with thousands of product reviews and multiple delivery options and digital signage for immediate price drops.

The store also features a children’s play area; a café known as the Kiddicafé; an event Room for the Thurrock community and a gift registry service where shoppers can populate a wish list.
