Immedia signs a five-year deal with Bruno Brookes

Immedia, the UK in-store radio broadcaster headed by former Radio 1 DJ Bruno Brookes, has signed a five-year deal with Norwegian pharmacy chain Vitusapotek. The station will begin broadcasting in Norwegian to 105 branches from its Newbury studio next month. Brookes said his company, which broadcasts to 2,600 Texaco, Londis, Dixons and Lloydspharmacy stores in the UK, was poised to seal another UK deal which would add 'substantially' to that number within the next two weeks. Immedia is also in talks about broadcasting to other pharmacy chains in Germany, Ireland and Italy, controlled by Vitusapotek's German owner, Celesio.
