House of Fraser has opened its second store in a week in High Wycombe.

Following the Belfast debut at the end of last week, the department store operator unveiled its 140,000 sq ft, four-floor emporium in the Eden centre, which opened yesterday.

Designed by consultancy Kinnersley Kent Design, it represents a “halfway house” in terms of the makeover of the brand, which will be seen when the Bristol store opens in September, according to Kinnersley Kent Design director Mick Kent.

Innovations include a completely redesigned ground floor, which houses the beauty, cosmetics and gift hall. The menswear department on the first floor features a number of branded shopfits created specifically for the location.
