Retail Week analysed Facebook to unearth which retailers are the best at building relationships with customers on the social network.

Below is a ranking of the retailers with the highest engagement rate on Facebook, put together in association with BirdSong Analytics.

BirdSong created the list by looking at the 50 largest retailers by UK retail revenue.

Engagement rate is achieved by taking the two published figures of ‘fans’ and ‘talking about’, and dividing talking about by total likes (fans) and multiplying by 100 to achieve a percentage engagement rate.
