Winners of the Retail Week Rising Stars Awards, in association with the Theo Paphitis Retail Group, were announced last night in London.

The awards provides leading industry chiefs with the opportunity to shine the spot light on outstanding achievements within their organisations. The awards were exemplary in showcasing those individuals who have gone the extra mile for their business, boosting team morale whie raising the profile of retail careers within their place of work.

Dixons Carphone took home four awards, including the coveted overall Retail Week Rising Star of the Year gong. Retail talent from BHS, Tesco and Argos were also among the winners.

The overall Rising Star is chosen from all the category winners. Our esteemed judges made a case for this person to be put forward for this ultimate accolade.

We’re delighted to announce that the winner was Victoria Bennion, from Dixons Carphone. The judges held her up as the bright light of all this year’s entries – a true rising star with a vast amount of potential to grow into a future retail leader.
