An ode to “modern American glamour”, furniture and interiors retailer Jonathan Adler’s new and improved London store opened its doors on Pelham Street in South Kensington this week.
Intended to be a “portal to Jonathan’s joy-inducing world”, the new location showcases the luxury retailer’s bright and bold home decor collection across 2,500 sq ft with a concrete floor and skylight.
The iconic pottery that the brand was founded upon is displayed on velvet-lined shelves while “gift cubes” highlight an evolving selection of the designer’s “go-tos”.
Bigger pieces, like sofas and cabinets, are displayed in liveable roomsets complete with soft furnishings and accessories.
The store is also offering complimentary in-home design consultations and a bespoke upholstery programme, which allows customers to choose different fabrics for the piece they have purchased.
“I’m royally excited about our new bigger, better, even-more-brilliant shop in South Kensington,” said founder Jonathan Adler. ”I used to think my favourite British style sensation was my husband Simon; turns out, it’s my new store.”
