Ikea has opened a downsized store in Queens, New York, with a focus on the needs of its local customer base.
Measuring half the size of an average Ikea store at 115,000 sq ft, the smaller-format store is one of many that Ikea is planning to roll out over the next year.
Located in Rego Center shopping mall, the Ikea store features a full range of products with a particular focus on space-saving solutions.
Both the room sets and digital tools on display are geared towards the typical small apartments of New Yorkers.
