Lounging on a grey sofa in the back of his London showroom, Made.com chief executive Philippe Chainieux looks as comfortable as if it were his own living room.
The showroom, which is home to a green marble bar as well as a range of tables and comfortable seating in Made’s signature velvet, is set to become the retailer’s designated cafe and bar in a bid to become a “destination, rather than a store”.
