Homebase has announced the new director of Bathstore following the acquisition of the bathroom retailer last month.
Ian Penney - previously group category director of kitchens at Kingfisher – will be responsible for all aspects of the Bathstore business including the chains online offering and the concession roll out into Homebase.
Penney will report directly to Homebase chief executive Damian McGloughlin who said: ”Ian’s leadership qualities and experience of delivering a customer-first approach will be instrumental to the business as we look to strengthen our showroom offer to customers.”
