Asos is set to launch its first own-brand homeware collection as it follows fellow fashion chains H&M, Zara and River Island into the category.

The online fashion retailer’s Asos Supply range will include soft furnishings, lighting, mirrors, kitchenware and bathroom accessories, with prices starting from £8. The range will launch on February 4.

Asos said the collection will focus on three different trends: “eclectic luxe”, ”cool minimal” and “global traveller”. All prints featured in the collection have been created by the etailer’s in-house designers.

The range will be the first homewares collection to be sold on Asos. The business said it aims to provide 20-somethings with on-trend, quirky homeware able to “move and morph into a variety of living spaces with ease”.

Asos’ move into homewares comes after a host of its competitors made similar moves into the sector. Zara Home was launched in 2003 and now boasts 408 stores worldwide.

H&M introduced its home ranges in 2009 and opened its first standalone home stores in 2018.

River Island launched the 160-piece RI Home collection in September.
