Superdrug has promoted its chief commercial officer Simon Comins to chief operating officer.
The health and beauty retailer described the move as a āsignificant milestoneā for the business and Cominsā 38-year career with the company.
Comins joined Superdrug part-time when he was 15-years-old, working his way through the business in a variety of roles before being promoted to chief commercial officer over three years ago.
The promotion marks a ābold step in Superdrugās strategic vision to create a seamlessly connected businessā, according to the retailer. In his new role, Comins will be responsible for uniting the retailerās commercial and retail operations, while improving the Superdrug customer experience.
Superdrug chief executive Peter Macnab said: āSimonās deep understanding of both our business and our customers makes him ideally placed to lead the next phase of our journey.
