Superdrug’s focus remains firmly on pricing to help support consumers

The health and beauty retailer will cut prices on over 150 own-brand products from January 3, as part of its “ongoing commitment to supporting shoppers through the cost-of-living crisis.”

This comes in the wake of recent limited-period price freezes on more than 5,000 favourite items across Superdrug stores and online, along with other cost-saving initiatives such as members-only pricing.

Everyday products set to come down in price and become “more affordable for all” include washing and bathing accessories to make-up and baby toiletries.

Jamie Archer, Superdrug own-brand director, said: “As a retailer, we always have accessibility and value at the heart of what we do and we are continuously looking at ways in which we can help and support our customers.

“Our commitment to making sure we are offering the best in price means that we are proud to be able to offer price reductions on over 150 own-brand items to our shoppers, with up to a 50% price decrease.

“We know that recent years have seen prices rocket due to the rising cost of living, so are happy to be able to reduce prices to help shoppers.

“We’re committed to supporting our customers in every way we can.”
