Glossier has unveiled plans to keep open its London pop-up, which was due to close next month, until the end of 2020 following “an overwhelmingly positive response” from shoppers.

The beauty and skincare brand says its London store, which opened its doors in November, has been its “most successful pop-up of all time”.

The retailer says its store has had over 100,000 visitors as well as recording “the highest average daily sales of any of [its] pop-ups” to date.

Glossier has two permanent bricks-and-mortar stores, in New York and Los Angeles, the former of which welcomes around 50,000 visitors per month.

The retailer also operates US pop-ups in Miami, Seattle, Boston and Austin.

The beauty brand’s London outpost, currently its only physical stores outside of the US, will now stay open until the end of the year.

Glossier has raised $186m in venture capital funding since its launch in 2014.
