Boots is trialling extended hours to midnight in 10 of its busiest central London stores

The retail giant already offers almost 10,000 health, beauty, and wellness items through on-demand delivery platforms Deliveroo and Uber Eats to be delivered in as little as 20 minutes.

It is now trialling extended hours to midnight in 10 of its busiest central London stores, which serve over two million customers.

Popular products customers order at Boots through rapid delivery platforms include medicines for colds, flu, hayfever and thrush. 

Pregnancy tests and baby milk are among the essential, urgent items ordered, as well as last-minute gifts of fragrance and premium beauty.

Boots chief digital officer Paula Bobbett said: “We know our customers’ lives don’t stop at 6pm, and neither should their access to essentials – whether that’s medicine for a poorly child, a forgotten gift, or an evening skincare top-up. By extending our instant delivery hours through Uber Eats and Deliveroo, we’re giving customers more flexibility and convenience when they need it most.”
