Luxury fashion brand Hardy Amies has reported revenues for the year to December 31, 2007 of £1.65 million.

The figure was up 35 per cent on the previous year, but the retailer has said it does not expect to become profitable until after 2008. Sales from its Saville Row store increased by 60 per cent in the period.

In October, a new men’s ready-to-wear store – a first for Hardy Amies – opened in Edinburgh and a further two opened in Chester and South Kensington in November.

The retailer said it would continue to invest in the future development and growth of the brand.
