Range to appear in March
Madonna has teamed up with H&M head of design Margareta van den Bosch to create a line of clothing and accessories for the fast-fashion retailer.

The range is scheduled to arrive in all H&M stores by March next year. According to the company, the M by Madonna fashion line will reflect the singer's 'timeless, unique and glamorous style'. The US pop icon worked with Bosch to create a clothing line that was similar to her own personal wardrobe.

Bosch said: 'Madonna has an impressive feel for fashion and trends. She was extraordinarily style conscious, passionate and was involved in even the smallest details of every design.'

Madonna said: 'I've made no secret of my love for fashion over the years. Working with Margareta and H&M was an exciting and creative challenge for me. I'm really happy with the results and look forward to wearing M by Madonna along with the rest of the world.'

H&M collaborated with celebrity-designers Viktor & Rolf recently, which created a fashion frenzy at many of its stores, with hundreds of people queuing up hours before the shop doors opened.

The clothing retailer has previously brought haute couture to the high street, with collections by designers Karl Lagerfeld and Stella McCartney.
