Fashion retailer is the latest to head for Scottish development
H&M is the latest retailer to sign up for Henry Boot Developments'£65 million Ayr Central development at Ayr, Scotland. The fashion retailer has taken a 20,000 sq ft (1,860 sq m) unit at the 200,000 sq ft (18,580 sq m) scheme, which is expected to open by Christmas next year.

Debenhams has already signed up for the 80,500 sq ft (7,650 sq m) anchor unit and Next has taken a 20,000 sq ft (1,860 sq m) store. Overall, the scheme will provide 22 retail units, a new town square, cafés and restaurants.

Henry Boot Developments Scotland regional development manager Alan Kinloch said: 'We have recently gone under offer on two other units, with a further four in negotiations, and our lettings programme is well ahead of schedule.'

Letting agents for the scheme are Springford & Co, Culverwell and Jones Lang LaSalle.
