Halfords raises profit forecast as warm summer boosts sales

Halfords has raised its full-year profit forecast, as a run of strong sales and an unusually hot summer have pushed profit above forecasts.

The motoring and cycling retailer now expects profit before taxes to be between £55m and £65m for the 2027 financial year, surpassing the £52.6m market consensus.
