Ocado has revealed it is opening a sixth customer fulfilment centre in Bristol as part of ongoing growth plans.
The online grocery retailer’s new facility will have the capacity for 30,000 orders per week, compared to the usual 85,000 orders expected from its other fulfilment centre in Purfleet, which is currently under construction.
The new fulfilment centre is being built on to an existing warehouse and will be completed by the end of 2020 or early 2021.
