Morrisons has appointed Mike Snell as its home and leisure director.
Snell, who will report to senior trading director ambient, Richard Lancaster, started his career at Asda in 1988 and worked his way up to various roles in trading.
At Asda, Snell was reponsible for different categories including dairy, cooked meats, beers, wines and spirits. His last role was commercial director for entertainment.
Group trading director Martyn Jones said: “We are delighted that Mike has agreed to join Morrisons at an exciting time for the business. We have had a fantastic past year and very much look forward to seeing Mike take forward our Home & Leisure offering in his new role.”
