Food delivery specialist Just Eat has reported a rise in orders and expects a continued strong performance in the coming months.

Just Eat posted a 46% increase in orders to 151 million at group level during its third quarter. In the UK orders rose 43% to 46 million.

Just Eat said order growth “accelerated compared with the prior quarter, leading to a widening gap to competition in key countries, including the UK and Canada”.

The business said that it continued to enhance its roster of restaurants by striking more partnerships. In the UK Just Eat has rolled out its service to 800 McDonald’s restaurants and 300 Greggs branches.
