Deliveroo sales soar despite hospitality reopening

Deliveroo reported a surge in orders across the UK and Ireland, and a doubling of Plus members through its Amazon Prime tie-up, despite the reopening of hospitality.

For the third-quarter period covering July to September, the delivery app reported a 58% increase in orders year on year to £1.59bn across the UK and Ireland. Gross transaction value per order slipped 6% to £21.40 per order year on year.
