CMA considers Co-op’s store sell-off plans to approve merger
The UK competitions regulator has provisionally accepted the takeover of Southern Co-operative by The Co-operative Group.
The Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) raised concerns earlier this month that the deal could affect competition in some markets following its phase 1 investigation.
