Upmarket Northern grocer Booths has toasted “another record-breaking Christmas”, with sales growth driven by an uptick in click-and-collect orders from the retailer’s members.

For the three weeks to January 3, Booths reported a 3.8% uptick in like-for-like sales, while like-for-like sales across December jumped 4.9%. This represented a third consecutive year of record Christmas sales growth for the retailer and marked 24% growth in sales over the festive period for the brand over that three-year period.
