Booths enjoys strong Christmas trading driven by turkey and alcohol sales


Family-owned supermarket Booths reported strong sales over the Christmas period driven by sales of turkey crowns and alcohol.

The retailer said in the three weeks to Christmas, sales grew 11.8% like for like, while in the week before the day itself sales jumped 16.6%.
