Asda wades into on-demand grocery battle with new one-hour Express Delivery service

Huyton asda

Asda has become the latest established supermarket to move into the rapid grocery delivery space with the launch of its one-hour Express Delivery service.

The retailer said the launch comes after a “successful trial” and that its Express Delivery service would be the first to offer its full 30,000-plus strong range of products to customers in a one-hour delivery slot.

The Express Delivery service is being launched from three Asda stores this week, with customers living within a three-mile radius of the retailer’s Halifax, Rotherham and Poole stores able to use the new service.
