Asda has opened its new £12m headquarters for its George clothing brand.
The 85,040 sq ft, three storey building, called George House, is located on a distribution park in Lutterworth, Leicestershire.
It was designed by Chetwoods Architects and features a fully glazed facade and 40 ft high reception area with a timber and steel canopy. It boasts environmental features including efficient heating systems, recycled carpets and organic paint.
George House accommodates 560 staff. The architect was appointed by developer Gazeley in 2005 and work on the building took 15 months.
