Asda, M&S and Boots target tens of thousands of workers amidst UK labour crisis

Asda, Marks & Spencer and Boots have become the latest retailers to set out temporary worker targets for the festive period with all looking to hire thousands of workers despite the UK labour shortage.

The retailer said it would be hiring 15,000 seasonal staff over the festive period for a “variety of different roles” including serving customers, replenishing shelves, picking, packing and delivering online orders.
