Asda is expanding its on-demand food delivery service with Deliveroo as shoppers stock up for the World Cup.

The supermarket has added over 300 superstores to the Deliveroo platform for UK customers to access products at speed. It takes the total number of Asda locations utilising Deliveroo’s rapid delivery service to more than 850 stores.
Asda shoppers can order groceries, drinks, and essentials through the Deliveroo app until 11pm as football fans stay up to watch late-night matches.
The added delivery capacity means customers can access same-day delivery on over 10,000 Asda products.
Throughout the World Cup, there are several Asda deals on Deliveroo, including 2-for-£10 on “Exceptional by Asda” pizza and beer.
Asda vice president for online grocery Barney Burgess said: “Our ability to offer customers a broad and ever‑growing range of services is a real strength for Asda, and expanding our partnership with Deliveroo builds on that.
“We’re focused on making shopping as convenient as possible, and by bringing Deliveroo to even more stores, customers can enjoy great Asda products and value delivered to their doorstep.”
Deliveroo vice president of consumer Suzy McClintock added: “Our expansion with Asda is a significant milestone in our continued mission to offer unmatched selection and great value groceries, delivered directly to your door.
“Now covering more than 850 stores and an increased range of over 10,000 products, we are bringing the ultimate convenience to more households across the UK.”
Some new locations where Asda is available via Deliveroo include: Darlington, Middlesbrough, Sunderland, Rochdale, Weymouth, Portsmouth, Doncaster, Edinburgh, Cardiff, Southampton, and many more.
