Discounter Aldi has said it plans to have over 500 of its stores powered by solar energy by the end of the year.
The retailer said it plans to install solar panels on a further 62 of its stores by year’s end. With 470 stores already powered by solar, it means that over 500 of the retailer’s store estate will have some form of renewable energy source by the end of 2026.
