Grocery inflation eases to lowest level since 2024 as sales pick up
Sales picked up and price rises slowed to their lowest rate since 2024 in the four weeks to 12 July, a month shaped by record temperatures and a packed sports calendar.
Like-for-like grocery inflation eased to 2.6% in the four weeks to July 12, the lowest rate since December, 2024, according to data released on Tuesday by Worldpanel by Numerator.
