New director will also sit on remuneration and audit committees
Greggs has appointed Julie Baddely as a non-executive director with immediate effect. Baddely will be a member of the board's remuneration and audit committees, but has also been appointed for her IT and HR experience.

Baddely holds non-executive directorships at the Yorkshire Building Society, Computerland UK and the Pension Client Group, part of the Department for Work and Pensions. Previously, Baddely held senior executive roles at The Woolwich, where she was a main board director for IT and HR, as well as Sema Consulting and Accenture.

Greggs chairman Derek Netherton said: 'We are delighted to welcome Julie to our board, where her extensive HR and IT experience will complement our existing strengths and skills, and enable her to make a valuable contribution to our discussions.'
