It’s always going to be embarrassing getting your lorry stuck under a bridge, especially if it is emblazoned with the slogan ‘We Fit’.

A Halfords lorry got stuck under a low bridge in south-east London

The Halfords lorry in question was advertising the company’s We Fit advice and fitting service for satellite navigation systems and other paraphernalia.

The driver, who came a cropper in Southeast London, would be well advised to get a sat nav fitted to warn him of low bridges.

That should certainly help him “go the extra mile”.
