But claims to be making comeback
Games Workshop has issued a profit warning, after revenue fell by more than£2 million to£54.8 million for the six months to November 26, compared with£57.1 million for the same period in 2005.

However, the wargames retailer revealed that the company is returning to growth - but later than expected. Operating profit remained flat at£0.5 million.

Games Workshop chairman and chief executive Tom Kirby said: 'While our sterling sales for the first half declined by£2.3 million, the sales in September, October and November reinforce our confidence that the business is retuning to growth. The directors firmly believe that the prospects for the business remain very good.'

The company opened 15 new hobby stores in the first half and closed eight, leaving 344 remaining at the end of November.
