Game has appointed Terry Scicluna to the newly-created role of chief operating officer.
Scicluna joins from Unichem, a member of the Alliance Boots Group, where he was managing director.
He starts his new role next month.
Scicluna has 30 years experience in retail, and has held senior leadership roles at Alliance Pharmacy, including chief operating officer. He has also held senior roles at Thorn EMI, Brighthouse and Radio Rentals.
Reporting to Game group chief executive Lisa Morgan, Scicluna will focus on developing Game’s dual brand strategy in the UK and Republic of Ireland and will support the business in developing the group’s specialist proposition.
Morgan said: “We are delighted to welcome Terry. He brings considerable retail and operational experience to Game. His extensive skills will strengthen our team and help us develop our strategy in the future.”
