Our unofficial guide to the World Cup
The WAGs aren't the only ones making German retailers happy. One lucky electrical store in Cologne received a boost last week when the Ivory Coast players splashed out on more than£14,000 worth of CDs, DVDs and Playstation games.

However, the England players won't be following suit - all their entertainment needs have already been taken care of by HMV. The music, film and book retailer has provided the squad with£12,500 worth of products to keep them entertained and motivated during the tournament.

Courtesy of retailer, the team will be honing their skills on PS2 game FIFA World Cup 2006, reading Maradona's biography and listening to Shayne Ward.
