Our unofficial guide to the World Cup
Asda's clothing brand George was quick off the mark yesterday. The company had T-Shirts commemorating England's 2-2 draw against Sweden in stores less than 24 hours after the match ended. The garments featured the slogan Strut to Stuttgart, commentating on England's progress into the second round. If England had won, the T-Shirts would have featured two crossed vegetable mashers with the slogan 'We mashed the Swedes'.

Steven Gerrard - England's top goal scorer this tournament - is also topping the World Cup shirts sales league. One in every four official shirts sold on Kitbag.com is a number four, carrying his name. Wayne Rooney comes second, followed by Brazilian player Ronaldhino in third and England captain David Beckham in fourth.
