It seems that the retailers of England are certainly losing out to Germany in this World Cup. It has been reported that the WAGs - wives and girlfriends - of the England players are spending thousands at a time on their numerous shopping sprees in Germany's upmarket spa town of Baden-Baden.

Brent Cross shopping centre in London is offering one lucky shopper£1 million if England finally beat Germany on penalties in a World Cup final. Now England are through to the final 16, they stand a good chance meeting the German team in the final. Visitors to the centre can place their bets until July 9.

Other World Cup activities at football-mad Brent Cross include footballer's wives locker-room pampering sessions, all main matches on big screens throughout the centre and plenty of activities for kids.
