US fashion retailer Forever 21 is understood to have made offers on two stores on Oxford Street as part of plans for European expansion.

Speaking at last week’s World Retail Congress independent adviser to Forever 21 Christopher Lee reiterated that an Oxford Street store is part of Forever 21’s plans for the UK, and that it would be looking for a large, big-box unit.

In July last year, Retail Week revealed that Forever 21 was considering sites across London.

In the past fortnight the fashion retailer is understood to have instructed its solely retained agent Harper Dennis Hobbs to make offers on two stores on the capital’s key shopping thoroughfare.

Harper Dennis Hobbs partner James Ebel confirmed that he was looking at “two to three opportunities” on Oxford Street, but would not confirm which stores had had offers made on them.
