Pets at Home has backed the CaRe20 fundraising initiative, donating £100,000 to the cause.

The specialist retailer’s pledge, alongside support earlier this week from John Lewis Partnership and TK Maxx parent company TJX Europe, takes the current appeal total to £528,000.

The CaRe20 campaign, which launched earlier this week, aims to raise £10m to provide financial, emotional, physical and vocational support to store workers who may be ineligible for government support during the health emergency.
