Greeting cards retailer Card Factory is set to sell about £400m worth of shares when it floats on the stock market.

Card Factory is the latest in a string of retailers to seek an IPO.

Reuters reported that the card retailer has priced its initial public offering at 250 to 300 pence a share, giving the company an equity value of between £764m and £954m on its market debut.

£90m worth of shares will be sold by the company, with the rest being sold by existing shareholders. Private equity firm Charthouse is selling the business, which is the latest in a long line of retailers to float.
