Dixons Carphone

Dixons Carphone is expected to release a positive set of fourth-quarter results on Wednesday, May 24.

The electricals retailer has invested heavily into its ‘Knowhow’ services proposition and its business services division – which includes its new HoneyBee digital sales platform – and it will be interesting to see how this investment is paying off.

Kingfisher

The DIY retail group will update the market with its first-quarter results on Wednesday, May 24.

It will be interesting to see whether the French division, which has historically had a tough time, is performing any better and whether growth is still being driven by the UK and Poland.

B&Q’s performance may also give a clue to the current health of the big-ticket sector.

Marks & Spencer

All eyes will be on Steve Rowe on Wednesday as he unveils the results of his first year in retail’s trickiest top job.

Quarterly results have been mixed over the year so the market will be keen to find out how M&S has fared over the year in its entirety, especially when it coms to its troubled clothing and home division.

B&M

B&M will update the market with its full-year figures on Thursday, May 25.

The darling of the brokers, it will be expected to reveal yet more growth and should give more detail on its plans to up its store expansion over fears of an economic downturn following Brexit.
