Seasalt buoyed by ‘positive festive sales’ across online and in store

Seasalt cardiff

Cornish fashion brand Seasalt has said it enjoyed a “positive” trading period over Christmas and New Year, registering strong growth in both online and in-store sales.

For the five-week period ending January 4, 2020, Seasalt reported 13% growth in its ecommerce channels and a 15% increase in sales across its bricks-and-mortar store estate.

Overall, the brand reported a 14% year-on-year increase in total revenues for the festive period.

Seasalt particularly highlighted the success of its international arm, which saw rocketing sales growth of 43% over the Christmas period – aided by the opening of the retailer’s first store outside the UK in Clonakilty, Ireland, in summer 2019.
